Witchy-Witch- Halloween Look

The popularity of Halloween is growing exponentially and as Halloween is around the corner, I thought why not give you all some inspiration to create something fun this Halloween.

Our clothes make a statement but our choice of costume for Halloween tells a story because there is no horror, if there’s no imagination involved. So dont forget to involve your imagination in bringing out our your unique halloween look, because this is the time when you can actually go around and play with your make up. You can create a list of horrifying looks. You can also use a subtle smokey makeup look to play around Halloween.

Not just playing with makeup, autumn leaves, pumpkin carvings and lanterns, spooky music, fake spiders set the scene on fire symbolizing the Halloween. 

One of the most popular and traditional symbols used in Halloween decoration is the Halloween Pumpkin Lanterns. Make it scarier by adding autumn leaves. Another thing that make it more fun is Trick or Treat custom for children during Halloween when they get a chance to travel from house to house asking for a treat, using the phrase Trick or Treat.

For my Halloween Look, I used this black dress. There are details with lace which are magnifying the beauty and adding oomph to my look. You can wear a different colour or you can play and select something colourful from your wardrobe. For Example, if you are wearing a red dress, you can create a red little riding hood, Minnie replica watches uk mouse look. With Yellow, you can be a Bumblebee and there are many more looks that can be created using different colours for a Halloween night.

As I have always said, our accessories spice up our look. Basically, accessories are making everything better. But, Halloween requires something spicier. So, I’m carrying a broom and wearing a witches hat to complete my Halloween look. The hat and broom are special symbols that add up and complete the look of a witch. Because in the stories, that’s how wicked witches used to be. This becomes an important accessory when you’re trying to portray yourself as a special character.

You can use different types of accessories like wigs, masks, different types of hats and shoes, gloves, glasses and many more items that can help you create a spooky look adding a fun element to your outfit. Go ahead and also play around with the eyeshadow, mascara. Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer – Swatch Medium Neutral

Blemishes, Pigmentation, Dark circles are no woman’s best friend. That’s where concealers come in. They make flawless skin possible by brightening your skin, hiding your acne, pigmentation and dark circles.  Concealers give a good finish if applied before your foundation. The URBAN DECAY NAKED CONCEALER is a high coverage weightless concealer which gives a luminous, demi-matte finish.

I use a concealer to cover up my pigmentation around the lip area and under my eyes. I opted for a shade lighter than my other concealers and found that it works well for both, my eyes and around the lip pigmentation. Also, a lighter shade of concealer can double up as a brow or cheek bone highlighter to enhance your features.Urban-Decay-Naked-Skin-Concealer-2Pros

  • Creamy
  • Weightless, but provides a full coverage
  • Covers scars, redness, dark circles and pigmentation well.
  • A lighter shade of the urban decay concealer can also double up as a highlighter to give a good glow to your face.
  • Product comes with an applicator; you can either dab on dots of the product or apply more with the wand.
  • No Parabens

Cons

  • The product settles into the fine lines around my under eye and forms creases. To avoid this, I make sure that I don’t use too much product around my under eye and really blend it well into my skin.
  • Little on the expensive side
  • The applicator tends to pick up too much product.

Final Thoughts: It’s a good product if you want a medium coverage which gives a more natural look.

Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette Review

Urban Decay products are known for their outstanding quality. Needless to say, I had very high hopes from the Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette and I’m glad to report that this product not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. This palette contains a gorgeous bronzer, silky highlighter and beautiful blush. This product comes in three shades – Native, Streak and Strip. I opted for Strip, which complements my olive-toned skin really well.

The highlighter in this product is really, really good. As per the standard rules of contouring, I use the highlighter on the areas that I want to focus the light upon, and I use the bronzer to shadow and lend depth to my face.
But what I absolutely adore about this product is the blush! It’s definitely my favourite of the three and I use it on its own as well as in combination with the highlighter and bronzer if I’m doing a full face of makeup. Unfortunately, it does not come with a brush so I bought the double-ended brush by Urban Decay to use with it. And what a great combination that is! I use the bigger side for the blush and bronzer, and the smaller side for the highlighter. This routine works really well for me.

Personally, I prefer powder highlighters and blushes to cream ones. I find that powder formulations keep the oiliness at bay. They are also much easier to blend.
Overall, this is a great product; however, I would love to see more colour options. A brush tucked inside would be really handy as well! Good going, Urban Decay.

Miss Santa – Christmas Makeup Breakdown (LOTD)

I love wearing subtle makeup with outfits as it sometimes helps in balancing the outfit. Here is another one of those effortless looks that is well-suited for most of the days, I did this makeup for a fancy dress do I went to last weekend in run upto Christmas. It is based on my favourite style where I have my skin looking dewy and supple, my eyes highlighted and striking, and my lips matching the outfit.

For this particular occasion, I went in for demure smokey eyes, complemented by matt red lip colour. Since I wanted to achieve a radiant, glowing look with the stand-out feature being the eyes and the makeup accents drawing upon colours from the dress, this seemed to be the perfect combination.
