Summertime travel is so inspiring. This year, I decided to vacation at Bath, and lo and behold, my fashion senses were tingling. Here I have put together a few of my favourite looks to share with you all, from the looks created with FatFace. For me these outfits are basically summer essential clothes and accessories which, if fashioned intelligently, can create a versatile capsule wardrobe that’s handy for work and vacations alike!
Let’s look at some of these outfits.
1. The first look is an ode to the fabulous femininity of a sun-kissed diva. I wore a colourful FatFace midi dress, with a kaleidoscope print in warm, bright colours. I teamed it with flat, tan sandals by Salt-Water, and a sleeved denim jacket by Tasha. I accessories with a wide-brimmed straw-hat and completed the look with light makeup.
This ensemble is perfect for a day outing where chances of sun-exposure are high. The hat and jacket-sleeves prevent excessive tanning while the light-weighted dress and sandals keep you blissfully cool. I would recommend it for picnics, brunches, and if you’re on holiday, day-time sightseeing.

2. My second ensemble is simple, yet chic – a fine sartorial choice for casual to semi-formal dressing. I teamed a stiped white-and grey dress with the tan Salt-Water flats and pair of brown-tinged aviators. The flared shape of the dress and hip pockets give it a semi-formal look, while the open-toed, strappy sandals prevent the ensemble from being too professional.
I would happily wear this outfit to an afternoon brunch with work buddies, or perhaps even an event at my son’s school. With such a combination, the possibilities are endless! Here I have teamed this dress with a jeans jacket to give.

3. My final outfit is more of a casual office look. I wore a pair of navy Copper & Black culottes having a knotted belt, side and back pockets, and a relaxed fitting. In terms of top wear, I chose a striped, cutwork blouse with ruffle detailing and scalloped trim hem. Black block wedge heels completed the look, which is sophisticated and professional without being strictly formal.
It’s the kind of outfit I like to wear to the office on the day I know is either going to be long or somewhat relaxed, like a Friday.

The brilliance of having a summer capsule wardrobe is that you can travel for pleasure or work purposes without too much baggage. Additionally, if you don’t have too much time to dress in the morning, your seasonally appropriate ensembles are well-arranged to just a put-on and go. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Go ahead and build your own capsule wardrobe too!

Delhi had the perfect autumn weather during my trip. I styled two outfits from

During this season when it’s chilly outside, I prefer adding a colourful or textured scarf to make the outfit fun. They are soft, warm and extremely cosy. Scarves are so versatile, and one can get them in all types of prints, colours and lengths. And the best bit is that there are endless ways one can wear them as. Replace it for a necklace or wear it as a headgear, a scarf is one of those things which can change your entire look.

For my second look, I paired my two part floral spot snood scarf with my jumper and skinny jeans. This is a lightweight scarf which is stylish and perfect for spring. I wrapped the scarf around my neck in a double loop and kept it mid-length. In the double loop style, you loop the scarf twice around your neck and tie the loose ends under the loop for a structured look. You can see both the prints when you loop it like this; it keeps your hands free, it looks stylish plus it’s super easy.
