Cold Shoulder & Ruffles Trend

There is something about cold shoulder that has us hooked on the trend. A cold shoulder dress or top is essentially flaunting bare shoulders. There is something elegant and stylish about the cold shoulder. It is summers and you need to add this could shoulder outfit in your wardrobe. A cold shoulder trend is not just for the summer but a great outfit even in slightly chilling evenings.

So, if you want to add some style to your wardrobe then read on to check out how I’ve styled this trend for the chilly evenings. I paired a casual grey cold shoulder maxi dress with tussled hair and metallic shoes. It is a loose A-line Maxi dress with loose fit and long sleeves which make it perfect for evenings. One of my favourite things about this outfit is the ruffles in the shoulder.

Apart from cold shoulder trend, the statement shoulder is getting popular as well. This dress has captured both the trends in one simple outfit. The ruffles in the shoulder and at the bottom of the dress give the whole outfit a romantic and flirty look. The whole look is focused on casual dressing for the weather.

One thing that you must remember when sporting this trend is to focus on keeping the whole outfit simple. I would prefer neutral shades and solid or lightly printed fabrics for this. You don’t want to look like you are trying too hard. Keep a relaxed look and add some oomph to your outfit with fun bag or shoes. I finished the whole look with a light pink lipstick and eyeliner.

You can even add the cold shoulder trend in your work wardrobe by pairing a silk cold shoulder blouse with flared trousers and boots. You can also pair this trend with a pair of ripped denim.

Gold or silver jewelry looks subtle and chic on a white dress.
