Miss Santa Fancy Dress – OOTD – #ItsChristmas

We all like to have a bit of fun when it comes to parties and this one of my inspirations for the Christmas time festivites when we all get to dress up. I chose Miss Santa and if you’re wondering  why – well, because I wouldn’t be able to  a Father-Christmas-attire justice for obvious reasons.  And also, Father Christmas shouldn’t be alone, so I’ll give him company ;-).

So as you can see, I am now fully ready to join Santa and all his elves in Winter Wonderland in a stylish Miss Santa Costume. The dress I am wearing is from TPFancydress.com, a website I love to shop on for fancy dress parties or competitions.

Winter Festive Day Out Outfit of the Day – OOTD

Winter is the time to enjoy all festivities that are around the corner., with Christmas and New Year Parties round the corner it’s all about sparkly and vibrant Outfits.

Winter-Festive-Day-Outfit

So I thought, why not wear one of these subdued, glittery knitted tops  for a daytime outing as well, and bring the glamour of night time fun into the day as well. And guess what it is the perfect time of the year to wear them.  They can be styled with either  jeans or trousers for a Chic Day Out, without putting in too much effort.

This is what I did. I wore this outfit for a day out to the movies  and then my Christmas Shopping. I acessorized it with a Big Floppy Black Hat  for protection from the cold weather, which also added a little bit of oomph to my subtly stylish look.

There’s a lot one can do with glittery or embellished knitted top-wear in this lovely festive time. So go ahead, have some fun with sparkle this season!

What to Wear at an Indian Wedding – Outfit of the Day (#OOTD) – Bridesmaid / Friend of the Bride Look

With the festive season in full swing, I thought I should share an outfit perfect  for  all the pretty bridesmaids or friends of the bride out there.
So, here’s my personal favourite bridesmaid look for you all pretty girls out there, who are looking for simple and effortless style!
Bridesmaid Outfit

Admit it, it’s hard work being a bridesmaid – you have to do a lot of  running around, help the bride, keep nerves under control and much, much more. But if you’re going to be doing all of this, you need an outfit fit for the job. In my opinion, a bridesmaid’s outfit should look effortlessly chic. It should keep you warm if the wedding is outside, but also have loads of oomph despite its functional value.

One of my favourite styles for a bridesmaid outfit is the Anarkali suit. Anarkalis have been in style for a few years now, and trust me, they are here to stay. The reasons for this are obvious – these timeless flared beauties are striking, dressy and easy to carry around as well.

The outfit above is from Reeth Coventry (one of my go-to shops for ethnic clothes in UK).

Outfit of the Day – Clothes Show Live Day 2 – Dec 5, 2015 #OOTD #ClothesShow

I wanted to show you what I wore today as I love the dress I wore to the event a lot and it’s one of my favourite buys this season and I was in fact waiting for a good day to wear it on. I actually stopped in my tracks when I saw it.

ClothesShow Live 2015

Love the fit and flare of the dress which is a very flattering fit for most of the body types.

I paired it with a long cardigan from Marks & Spencers in Same colour, as its winters. The burgundy colour leggings add a bit of colour to the whole look and the black boots add a bit of length and day glamor to the outfit.

You can easily wear it with transparent stockings and high heels for an evening look.
