May the Gods of Fashion be showering you with attention throughout the summer season. This weather, though lovely in many ways, does throw many challenges in every fashionista’s path. But hey! Follow my blog and I’ll let you in on some secrets to beat the summer blues like a pro.
Speaking of challenges, what is your worst diva dilemma? I’ll tell you mine. I get very anxious when buying gifts for others, especially women and children. With men, the choices are limited so it’s easier to decide. But with women and children, finding the perfect gift can be quite tricky.
But recently, I came across Kaya Jewellery. This is a UK-based jewellery brand that boasts of an exquisite collection catering to the mum-and-kid consumer-base. The owner – Tanja – took inspiration from the lovely dynamic she shares with her two daughters who idolize her and want to dress and accessorize the same way. So she started this venture in 2012, creating jewellery from semi-precious materials including gemstones, crystals and freshwater pearls, with special emphasis on kid’s and women’s jewellery.
When I browsed through the website, I was immediately attracted to numerous pieces and sets, for myself as well as for gifting purposes. I naturally ended up ordering a few things and now that they have arrived, I am just so thrilled at my purchases. I bought a sterling silver necklace with three silver stars which is beautifully crafted with a lovely rhodium finish. The delicate stars look so elegant and pretty when worn on a low neckline! Even better is a set of mother-and-son bracelets embellished with black onyx and silver-plated ball beads. I bought it for my son and me, and both of us love these matching beauties.
When the package arrived with the individual items wrapped in a pink satin gift pouch, I was both excited and apprehensive. But all my fears were put to rest when I saw the pieces. I can now vouch for the quality and beauty of stuff from Kaya. I instantly thought of how I can gift these sets and individual pieces to friends and family. Their collection has jewellery suited for all kinds of occasions from baby christening to birthdays and more. I’ve become quite the fan really!
