OOTD: Utility Meets Style With This Cotton Jumpsuit and Crop Top Combo

How’re you all doing? I, for one, am very busy most of the time, running around, handling my million and one commitments. But mostly, I enjoy my action-packed schedule. The main reason for that is my choice of clothing, which always keeps my nice and comfy.
Jumpsuit-Zara-Outfit-8I came to realize that your outfit plays a major role in determining your state of mind. If you’re comfortable and at ease in it, you’ll be all fired up to complete your chores. If it’s very elaborate and discomforting, you’ll be distracted all day, trying to keep your clothes in check.

This struck me when I was wearing an oft-used go-to outfit from my closet – this basic cotton jumpsuit, paired with a striped crop top and flat sandals. This ensemble is effortlessly chic and adds subtle glamorous to your carriage. Thus, it is ideal for a busy day when you need some airy, casual clothes that’ll not come in your way.
Jumpsuit-Zara-Outfit-3The colour of the jumpsuit makes it a good choice for both daywear and evening dos. I have worn a white and orange crop top underneath and avoided a longer blouse/shirt. This is because with long top-wear, the chances of its hemline showing through the jumpsuit are high and that looks shabby. If you want, you can even forego the crop top and simply wear a bodysuit underneath instead.

I love wearing this combo for treks or hikes since it not just allows me to move freely, but also protects my skin from the sun while having me look quite trendy. You can also wear it when out for shopping, ferrying the kids about or even to a casual event.

OOTD: Trend Alert, Rocking the Sleeveless Jacket

Hi All!

It’s been a while since I’ve given you a peek into my wardrobe essentials for this season. So I decided to put up an Outfit post where you can see what my favourite look is these days.

Sleeveless Jacket-4

Off late, I have been very partial to sleeveless jackets. This is the latest trend to hit the work-wear section and boy, am I loving it or what! I think these lovely tailored jackets are effortlessly trendy and can make even a simple outfit look like million bucks. With just one simple add on to your regular office outfit, you can reinvent and create new looks. The versatility of sleeveless jackets is sure to have them topping the fashion charts for a while.

Sleeveless Jacket-3

If you’re slightly unsure of how to carry off a sleeveless jacket, here is some inspiration. I have styled my work-wear outfit donning a neutral-hued sleeveless jacket over a simple, black trouser. I’ve put on a black pullover underneath to highlight the jacket and teamed them with classic black pencil heels.

While the point was to extol the sleeveless jacket here, on a side note, I have to say – I personally think we should all have at least one pair of perfectly fitted black trousers, an elegant black knit /shirt and some beautiful black heels in our wardrobes for sure. In fact, I have 4 black bottoms and 5-6 different style black tops, just for office-wear!

That aside, I hope you like my Outfit post and fall in love with long, sleeveless jackets the way that I have! How do you feel about them? Share your opinion – I’d love to hear from you!
