It’s that time of the year when the weather is perfect for experimenting with clothing. It’s not too hot, it’s not yet cold. And so, the Boho diva in me has been quite active these days, Naturally, I decided to write a post on how to fashion a chic bohemian look with effortless glamour. Also, with being in a 9 to 5 work mode all week long, when it comes to weekend I do love to wear free flowing, casual clothes so much more.
As you can see, I’m wearing a V-Neck rivet embellished tank top with simple blue denims and very little accessorising. My sandals are ghungaroo-embellished flats and bag, a printed tote. Even though nothing is too over-the-top bohemian really, the overall look is one of casual quirkiness that is rather charming.
The key to pulling off the boho look with class is to keep it simple yet edgy. Layering is always a good idea and so I wore a black sleeve-less tee under my light blue tank top. I have to mention here that this top is my go-to closet staple for days when I want to look good, but without going the whole nine yards of carefully putting together an outfit. I was lucky to have found it on www.zaful.com quite by chance while browsing the web late one night. Incidentally, Zaful’s collection is quite trendy and affordable, alongside being of great quality. I have been purchasing their creations ever since I bought this top and simply love the prompt and efficient delivery service they offer.
So I teamed my favourite Zalful top with a pair of plain denims to avoid going overboard with the bohemianism. Instead of wearing very striking clothes, I carried a statement bag, wore some bangles and bracelets, and put on a pair of funky shoes. The idea was to look like I had just thrown on whatever was within easy reach in my closet and still look fashionable.
My advice to anyone experimenting with the boho look is that you should keep it fuss-free yet unconventional. Don’t wear every piece of jewellery you can lay your hands on or something discomfortingly attention-grabbing. Focus on fashioning something unique with your regular clothes using colour-blocking, layering, accessorising and so on. Since there are no rules with this look, you can do any kind of makeup from a barely-there nude finish something bolder, brighter, more exciting. I chose to wear deep red lipstick and some minimal eye-makeup to keep the look fresh. And oh! I genuinely felt so carefree and wonderful in this outfit – my inner boho diva was completely alive and kicking!
What about you? What brings out the boho glam in you? Do share, I’d love to know!

In honour of my love for the orange palette, I decided to write a post on a classic autumn ensemble which celebrates orangey hues. As you can see in the picture, I have teamed a deep orange top with cropped white jeans. A pair of white flats with cut-work detailing and white Michael Kors tote complete my ensemble. The outfit creates a chic, casual look which is great for daytime and evening outings. The makeup, though subtle, has a pop of colour on the lips, which adds a dose of glamour to the overall look.

And you know what the best part is? They have great discounts which makes these high-end brands a little more affordable so you don’t burn a giant hole in your pocket with just one purchase. Whenever I want to indulge myself, I go onto this website and voila! I have 3 items in my cart and 10 in my wishlist in a matter of minutes! One big reason for this is that they have an exclusive collection from luxury brands that have a classic appeal and cater to the tastes of a diverse bunch of people. From Aramani, Hugo Boss and Paul Smith to Chloe, Juicy Couture and Vivienne Westwood, Tessuti is my one-stop shop for big-brand purchases.
I have bought numerous closet favourites from this website and can vouch for the fact that their service is next to impeccable. Their delivery is speedy, packaging great and customer service response wonderful too. Buying from here is a hassle-free experience for me which is why I love ordering from

I am sport a navy blue lacy off shoulder top with white capri’s. The top are intricate floral lace and ruffle on top. I wanted a super casual look so I opted for bare minimum accessories. I wore brown sandals, studs for earrings and a bracelet. Since I was going for a casual look I went for natural and subtle makeup as well. I paired my outfit with a pink lipstick and some blush.
There are several ways one can carry off the off shoulder trend. For a super casual look for can pair an off shoulder top with boyfriend jeans and a pair of slip on shoes or pair it with an A-line midi skirt for a vintage look.
Off shoulder can also be worn to work. You can layer an off-the-shoulder top over a blouse with trousers. You can tie your hair in a sleek ponytail or a bun. If you have a meeting then you can throw on a blazer over your off shoulder top and keep your face makeup free. For a bold look you can pair a solid colored off shoulder top with printed pants for a cool look. If you are a fan of flared jeans you can wear it with a loose off shoulder top, multi layered necklace and wedges for a retro look. You can also make a regular tee into an off shoulder top by tying it on one end and letting the opposite side fall down your arm.

On such days, keeping your look simple is the way to go. But you’ll probably object that lazy or not, you always need a little bit of jazz. After all, you are a trendy diva, aren’t you? Ordinary turnout is not your thing. Neither is it mine. So I arranged a quick-fix that would turn my plain, comfy outfit into statement attire which screams “casual chic”. I put on some classy fashion jewellery and immediately, I felt and looked so much better!
And that’s when I decided; I must do a post on how to glamorize simple attire using classy, contemporary jewellery. As you can see, I’m wearing a pair of fitted, basic blue jeans by Next and a striped blue-and-black kaftan top by COs Stores. I wore string sandals to match my informal clothing and stayed away from all accessories other than some light jewellery.
The pieces I am wearing – the beaded necklace, the charm bracelet and the statement rings – are all by an up and coming brand Deevara Jewels. I first encountered their collection at the Bollygoods Show this year and was instantly captivated. You see, even though the brand makes only contemporary fashion jewellery, there is something very elegant and exclusive about it. It doesn’t look like junk jewellery you bought off the streets – it is beautiful and subtle and very fashionable!
The red and white beads of the necklace offer a contrast to the black and blue beneath. Since the top has a boat-neck hemline, it’s perfectly suited for a long neckpiece. The silver bracelet too went well with the colour scheme. The delicate charms and multiple wrap-around strings make my wrist look more dainty. Both statement rings have a chunky stone set in German silver. This adds a wee bit of rustic appeal to the otherwise uber-modern outfit.
And this is what I love about Deevara Jewels’ – their unique approach to jewellery design. Their pieces are a fusion of classic aesthetics and contemporary stylistics. They bring something new to the table and that, to me, is very alluring. They use semi-precious stones for creating Indo-fusion jewellery that is spectacular yet affordable. Currently based out of Denham, Deevara’s collection can be accessed through their Facebook Page and Instagram accounts. I’m adding the links so may check them out too!

As always, February is a very cold month in London and it was much more windy that I had anticipated (you will see what I mean as you see my #ootd pictures!) so it was important that I stay fashionable and cosy.

Having been more fashion conscious than practical and walking around in heels on the first day of London Fashion Week, I was ready to give my aching feet a well-deserved rest. I was so glad that I had remembered to pack my flat Aldo shoes! I always make sure that I pack at least one pair of flat shoes when I travel, especially when I am going to be on my feet all day long. London is all about walking, whenever I travel to London I love taking lazy strolls around, its such a place that you never grow out of it. The day started out rather pleasant, but ended with buckets on rain. In fact, I had to duck into a hotel for lunch to simply find some cover.

Day 3
We visited the London Bridge, Westminster Abbey and finally, Tate Britain. Strolling around the galleries is definitely one of my favourite things to do in London. This day definitely reminded me of my love for London – it is one of my favourite cities in the world and a place where I truly feel at home. I can’t wait to be back!
