Coriander pesto is super easy to make and can be prepared with the ingredients available at home. The best part about pesto is that it is loved equally by both adults and children.

Ingredients

  • 2 Bowls Coriander
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • 5-6 Black peppers
  • 3 tbsp Pine nuts (Can be substituted with walnuts or cashew nuts)
  • 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • Lemon juice (Optional)

Instructions

  • Once you have all the ingredients ready with you, put them in a blending jar one ingredient at a time.

  • After you are done adding all the ingredients in the blending jar, put the lid on and blend all the ingredients until smooth to make beautiful green colored pesto sauce.
  • Once done, check the consistency and flavors of the sauce. The consistency of the pesto should not be too thick or too runny. If your sauce is too thick add some olive oil and blend again.
  • After you get the desired consistency and flavors, add some lemon juice to it for some extra kick.
  • Now that your coriander pesto sauce is ready, you can mix it with boiled pasta of your choice, garnish with sautéed tomatoes and enjoy.
