To my mind, fashion is so much more than the latest trend or the must-have item of the season. It is one of the strongest personal statements that you can make.

In fact, it is this very belief that underpins everything that I do with FashionForRoyals. Through practical advice and my personal experiences, I hope that I will be able to help you find and hone your own, individual style.

I have always felt a strong connection to style, silhouette and all things sartorial; however, I didn’t pursue this passion immediately.

After graduating from university in my hometown of Delhi, India, I ventured into the wonderful world of marketing, where I worked for over ten years, first in India and later in London. I have successfully launched several small start-ups and grown nascent brands into large, successful companies.

In 2012, I decided that it was time to take the plunge. FashionForRoyals was born. My purpose was, and has always been, to empower women to discover their inner fashionista with style and beauty advice from my own, personal experiences. I want my readers to fall in love with fashion.

In line with what I set out to achieve, I decided to pursue a well-recognized styling course in London. I have now extended my services to personal styling and image consultation.

Growing up in India, and now, living in London, has had a profound impact on my sense of style. I am constantly exploring creative combinations that balance my love for Indian culture with my global aesthetic. In fact, my personal style is the sum of everything and everyone that inspires me. It is constantly evolving, as am I.

For now? I am completely focussed on balancing motherhood with achieving my dreams, and making FashionForRoyals an inspiration for all of the working women and fashionable mothers out there!

Why the name Fashion For Royals?

Because at some point every woman carries a Cinderella dream in her heart — a dream where she magically transforms into a gorgeous princess with minimal effort. And I want to show you that it’s possible.

Know me some more

• I am wheatish in colour with cool-toned neutral skin — a skin tone that some friends here call “an exquisite feast for the eyes.” I am not complaining!
• Love experimenting with bold lip colours, burgundy and mauve being all-time favourites.
• Love travelling to off-the-grid places
• Controlled shopaholic (yep, a term I invented to best describe how I shop these days!)
