When it comes to looking elegant and sophisticated on every day of the year, Nina Garcia is the person to look up to. Not only is her fashion game on point; she is absolutely gorgeous, too! Again, this book is filled with practical advice that you can actually use and covers everything from how to avoid a fashion faux pas to how to combine texture and colour. I particularly love the bit about how to cultivate good taste – so important! The message of the book is very clear: fashion trends might fade but style is eternal and internal. Love, love, LOVE!
The World According To Karl
If there is one thing I love more than the iconic Chanel 2.55, it is Karl Lagerfeld’s quirky sense of humour. This book is peppered with statements made by the king of fashion and although they might initially strike you as very bold and outrageous, you will come to realize that they are ridiculously true. This book goes beyond fashion and subtly addresses issues like self-confidence and why you should be yourself. Major win!
